In the warm and humid Wuyi Mountains covered with evergreen broad-leaved forests, an ancient species called the China Bretschneidera inhabits. It survived from the erosion of the Quaternary glaciation, and now takes the most inconspicuous form to hide in the luxuriant mountain forest.

About CGTN Nature

Being an outstanding area for biodiversity conservation, the Wuyi Mountains bear many names like the "refuge for relic species," "paradise of birds" and "homeland for tea." The 10-episode Wuyi Mountains Series shows that it is worthy of its names.
