Chinese Vice Premier Han Zheng has held talks with Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam in Beijing. During their talks, Han said the cause of the Hong Kong protests – a controversial fugitive bill – has led to months of protests, which have damaged the interests of Hong Kong and the people there. Han says stopping the violence and restoring social order is now the priority of the HKSAR government.
