Birdwatchers make up a huge group of people in China, consisting of nature-lovers and bird-lovers across the country.

In October in the Shennongjia forest zone, which is home to over 400 bird species in central China's Hubei Province, a birdwatching contest featuring 20 teams was held.

The team from Shennongjia recorded over 120 bird species during the four-day event.

In addition, 10 new bird species that had not been recorded in this area before were discovered during the contest.
