Sitting at the northwest of Yunnan's Deqen Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, the Baima Snow Mountain Nature Reserve has welcomed its best season of the year. During autumn, the alpine coniferous forest turns golden. The melting snow and ice from the peak gather into a river, bringing more chill for the forest. Early snow covers the yellow moss and lichens as if they are wearing a white warm autumn coat. The Baima Snow Mountain Nature Reserve is home to many wildlife species, such as blue sheep, black bears and Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys. They have been endemic to this unspoiled wonderland for a long time.
