When Chinese President Xi Jinping starts his state visit to Greece on Sunday, the Greek-version of TV feature series "Xi Jinping's Classical Literary Quotes" will be launched by Greece's largest commercial media group Skai Group.

Produced by China Media Group (CMG), the series will be simultaneously broadcast on the Skai TV website and CMG's Greek website and social media platforms.

The series carefully selected famous sayings and historical stories from ancient Chinese classics quoted by President Xi in his speeches, articles, and talks. Centering on different themes, the series vividly displayed President Xi's profound understanding of the exceptional traditional Chinese culture and the wisdom of governance drawn from it.

Previously, the "Xi Jinping's Classical Literary Quotes" has been translated into English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Italian and other languages, receiving wide attention and critical comments from audiences in various countries.

The series opened a window for billions of people around the world to understand how President Xi successfully brought China, the world's largest developing country, into a new era and marched toward the Chinese Dream of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Greece is an active participant in the Belt and Road Initiative proposed by President Xi. Local people said that the launch of the Greek version of "Xi Jinping's Classical Literary Quotes" will let the Greek people understand the initial intention of China encouraging other countries to enter the Belt and Road Initiative friends circle and weaving a partners' network of mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation.
