Foodstuffs from around the world shine at 2nd CIIE

A variety of delicious foodstuffs brought by exhibitors from 122 countries and regions basked in the limelight at the ongoing 2nd China International Import Expo in Shanghai. Top pastry chefs from six countries presented distinct flavors of their homelands at the world famous Lesaffre Bakery Competition at the expo.

Special products, including Madagascan bird's eye chili and African cashew nuts, also grabbed visitors' attention. In addition, a variety of big-headed tuna, albacore tuna and swordfish were showcased at the event. Moreover, a 300-kilogram bluefin tuna, caught from the Spanish Mediterranean, was disintegrated at the Food and Agricultural Products exhibition area.
