Japanese Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako depart the Imperial Palace for a parade around central Tokyo celebrating the emperor's formal ascension. The parade will conclude at the Akasaka Imperial Grounds. The parade was postponed from the original October date due to Typhoon Habibis which left more than 90 dead.
