The New Digital Youth conference held on November 9, 2019, in Beijing took a closer look at the relationship between the new generation and technology. Wang Xudong, director of the Palace Museum, said at the conference that "The traditional culture of our nation and legacy of our civilization have to be digitalized to spread farther and reach more people." 

He also told CGTN Digital that the Palace Museum needs to lead the way for the younger generation to know more about the excellent traditional Chinese culture. "This needs an innovative transfer. In this fast-developing digital era, we need to fully connect technology and excellent traditional Chinese culture."
