As winter approaches, more than 2,000 acres of Chinese larch, a member of the pine tree family, are turning red in the Qinglongwan National Forest Park. Contrasted with the green water, the vibrantly hued trees create breathtaking scenery.

The Qinglongwan National Forest Park, located at Ningguo city of Eastern China's Anhui Province, is subject to a humid subtropical climate. Many national protected animals and plants, including the Chinese larch, are found in the park. The Chinese larch is a coniferous tree species that can grow to heights of 50 meters tall. They turn red or dark brown in winter.
