Day-to-day activities have resumed in some of the areas worst affected by recent floods in central parts of Somalia. Reconstruction has commenced along a 5-kilometer stretch of road linking the town of Beledweyne and the rest of the country. Engineers are filling damaged sections of the road with massive stones and sand as a temporary measure to restore transport that was affected due to recent floods
