Singles' Day - Lazada celebrates 11.11 in Southeast Asia

Lazada, backed by Alibaba, has adopted many of the Chinese e-commerce giant's Singles' Day celebratory features, such as live streaming and gamification. Today marks the second time that Lazada, which first trialed the 11.11 online shopping festival concept in Southeast Asia in 2012, has participated in the Singles' Day celebration as part of the Alibaba Group. Earlier this afternoon, CGTN's Miro Lu spoke to Lazada Group's co-president, Jing Yin, at their Singapore headquarters.
