Live-streaming campaigns generate billions

Over half of China's online shops on the e-commerce platform Taobao gained additional revenues by live-streaming during this year's Double Eleven binge shopping party. Pitchmen such as Viya Huang and Li Jiaqi, the "King of Lipsticks," generated billions of yuan in sales by pushing a host of products during live-streams.
