When two Grammy Award-winners, Larry Carlton and Richard Bona, performed together for the first time, the venue was Beijing's Blue Note Jazz Club. Richard, from Cameroon, never received any formal musical education; by contrast Larry, from California, began receiving music lessons when he was six. Despite their different backgrounds and musical styles, they share one thing in common: A passion for music that has led them to achieve one of the highest accolades in the field, a Grammy Award.
