Thousands of wild geese have arrived at the Yiquan Lake in north China's Hebei Province for wintering.

The wild geese will call the lake home for the next five months before embarking on their journey north again in March.

The 20 square kilometers of broad waters are full of fish and other food resources, providing the perfect habitat for the migratory birds.

In recent years, Yiquan Lake has embraced around 100,000 wintering wild geese each year.
