Photographers captured a heart-warming moment that a female Eurasian otter cuddles her cub on the coast of Mid Argyll in Scotland.

The mother and the cub cuddled for more than an hour. The only time the pair separated was when the mother left to scare away another otter, however, the cub was kept safe and right out of the way on the far bank.

The Eurasian otter is the most widely distributed otter species. It can be found across the waterways and coasts of Europe, Asia, and northern Africa.
