The University of Hong Kong Saturday confirmed that the faculty congregations scheduled for the rest of this month and December have been cancelled in view of "uncertainties of the situation and traffic conditions" in Hong Kong.
"Graduands will be provided with information on the arrangements for the collection of their degree diplomas and other related matters. It is understood that faculties may hold celebration ceremonies for their graduates at an appropriate time later in the academic year," said a statement issued by the varsity.
