15 dead in N China coal mine blast

15 people were killed and nine others injured at a coal mine gas explosion in north China's Shanxi Province, local authorities said on Tuesday.

The rescue work is now over and the vital signs of those injured are stable, according to the local authorities.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
