Police said four people were dead following a shooting at a family gathering in Fresno, California, on Sunday night.
Three of the victims were found dead at the site while the fourth victim died at the hospital.
Another six people also sustained injuries to different extents from the incident, Fresno police said.
The shooting happened at around 6:00 p.m. local time when at least one person sneaked into a family's backyard and opened fire while people were watching a football game.
No arrests have been made so far, Fresno police Lt. Bill Dooley told NBC affiliate KSEE.
The nature of the shooting was not immediately clear.
