At least 10 people were killed, more than 20 were injured in a road accident in central Mexico on Monday, according to local media.
The report said that the accident occurred on the highway leading to Pachuca City in the capital city of Mexico City. A passenger car could not brake in time because of speeding and collided with two passenger cars parked on the side of the road, causing the casualties.
Many people were trapped inside the car because of the collision of the passenger car, which made it more difficult to rescue.
Some of the injured have been taken to hospital for treatment. Large-scale congestion occurred on the road near the accident and rescue work is still in progress.
