Live: Hong Kong police press conference

Since June, Hong Kong police arrested 4,491 people aged between 11 to 83, for unlawful assembly, rioting, possession of offensive weapon, arson, and assaulting police, among others. Tang Ping-keung, the new commissioner of police of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), said that "We hope that violence will be stopped, and that public order in Hong Kong can be restored as soon as possible."
