Ice floes have appeared on the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region section of the Yellow River in north China on Monday, signifying that the river has entered its 2019-2020 ice jam season. During this time, the water level could rise dramatically, leading to floods. The relevant departments have started implementing ice jam prevention plans along the Yellow River, which is China's second longest river.
