Beijing has ramped up its condemnation of the passing of a Hong Kong-related bill by the U.S. Senate. The bill "legitimizes" Washington's monitoring of the city in different respects. The U.S. House of Representatives approved the Senate's version of the legislation before sending the bill to President Donald Trump on Thursday. When commenting on the bill, Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the house, called the protesters "freedom-loving people". Freedom-loving people? Pelosi, do you know these people are destroying Hong Kong with violence?
