The Chinese president has met former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger in Beijing. Xi Jinping praised Kissinger's historic contribution to China-U.S. relations and said those ties are now at a critical moment.
The two sides should strengthen communication and enhance mutual understanding, Xi said.
