A massive rime appeared in Xianfeng national forest park in northeast China's Jilin Province on Wednesday, as a result of cold air and the sharp temperature difference between day and night.

The rime covered an area of more than 10,000 hectares. The views are spectacular and show the magical charm of early winter.

The area has an altitude of more than 1,400 meters. Due to high altitude and low temperature at night, a large rime is normally formed at the end of October.
