Tung Chee-hwa, former chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), has called on Hong Kong residents to say no to violence and elect the candidates who are truly dedicated to Hong Kong. He made the remarks at the 2019 District Council Ordinary Election on Sunday. "Rioters could not destroy Hong Kong with whatever pretext, like they are doing now," he said when facing press at a polling station.
