Voting for the 2019 District Council Ordinary Elections in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) is underway. The polling stations opened at 7:30 a.m. and will close at 10:30 p.m.

As of 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, over 1.52 million people have cast their ballots, surpassing the total number in the last district council elections in 2015.

The turnout reached 47.26 percent as of 3:30 p.m., surpassing the final turnout of 47.01 percent in 2015.
