Counting of votes continued on Monday morning in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) as the city waits for the final results of the 2019 District Council Ordinary Election.
As of around 6:00 a.m., the Electoral Affairs Commission (EAC) said "more time is still needed to complete the count in some counting stations" citing a high turnout rate this year.
Between 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, nearly three million voters cast their ballots in the election.
