Macao's Legislative Assembly is located in the city's Nam Van district. According to the Basic Law, the Assembly is the legislature of the Macao Special Administrative Region. It has a 33-member body, comprised of 14 directly elected members, 12 indirectly elected ones and seven members appointed by the chief executive.
