CGTN Global Media Summit and CCTV+ Video Media Forum is an annual summit hosted in China for the international media industry. It is a platform designed to facilitate global conversations among Chinese and international media organizations where ideas and experiences can be exchanged. The first forum kicked off in south China's Hainan Province in 2017 under the theme of "A Shared Future,”while the second was held in Chongqing, southwest China, in October 2018 under the theme of "Opening and Connecting the World." 

This year it will be opened in China's capital Beijing on December 4, 2019.
