Only 13 percent of engineers in the U.S. are women, according to United States Department of Labor. Erika Bergman, a Submarine pilot, has a plan to change that. She is often the only woman on her submarine trips. As the founder of Girls' Underwater Robot Camp, a camp that teaches girls around the world to build their own underwater robots, Erika is hoping to train the next generation of female engineers and explorers.
