Recently, over 60 pygmy cormorants appeared at a wetland park in NW China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

This is the second time the pygmy cormorants appeared in this area. The birds were first seen in Xinjiang in November 2018, and this year, there is an even larger group of the birds.
