Forest rangers rescued a snow leopard in Shiqu County, southwest China's Sichuan Province, on Tuesday. The female, which is said to be about 10 years old, was injured while competing with another snow leopard for a blue sheep. After receiving treatment and recovering, the animal will be released back to the wild.
