A "safety group" from the Hong Kong police department entered the campus of Hong Kong Polytechnic University at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday to gather evidence and handle dangerous materials. The group is composed of negotiation experts, social workers, psychologists, anti-explosion experts and fire-control experts. CGTN's reporter is tracking their progress.
