Police and firefighters at Hong Kong Polytechnic University have already removed more than 4000 petrol bombs, Molotov cocktails. They are now working their way through chemicals that the rioters used to make those weapons. They said the campus is now safe enough to turn over to the university. The police have left the area. Tourists are already coming by to take a look.

University officials are still working out to decide on the next steps. The campus is nothing short of a disaster area. It will take weeks, perhaps even months, to restore it to normal.
