Heavy, dry snow rapidly turns autumn into winter in Keketuohai Geopark in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. While the taiga along both banks of the Irtysh River feels the slight chill, a big flock of ruddy shelducks glides over the lake as if preparing to migrate to warmer places. The winter snow would soon take over the place, turning it into a white fairyland.
