Violence continues despite Iraqi PM's resignation

Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi announced his resignation after the country's senior Shia cleric urged lawmakers to reconsider their support for the government. Iraq has been the scene of deadly protests for weeks. Violence raged on in the country's south on Saturday, with protesters surrounding a police station in the city of Nassiriya. A professor joined CGTN from Egypt, and said the unrest will go on as protesters are demanding more than the prime minister's resignation.
