According to the World Health Organization, the HIV is still among the top 10 global health threats. In China, the overall epidemic remains at a low level. Latest government figures show that as of the end of October, about 960,000 people were reported living with HIV. But what's worrying is that cases both among young people and those aged 60 and above are increasing. Around 3,000 AIDS cases are reported each year among young students between the ages of 15 and 24. And infection rates among the elderly, especially men over 60, have nearly tripled in the last six years.
