China booked two tickets to Tokyo Olympic Games at FIG Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships in Tokyo on Saturday.

According to the Tokyo Olympic qualification system, up to 16 Olympic qualification berths offered for the individual trampoline specialists were all settled.

Both Chinese trampolinists Gao Lei and Huang Yanfei dominated the top spot during the men's and the women's individual trampoline semifinals, securing full Olympic quotas at the World Championships.

"Our goal here is to gain the full quotas to Tokyo 2020. And we made it. That was the most important task for us here," said Lu Chunlong, the national team manager and the Olympic champion in the 2008 Beijing games.

With the two golds bagged at the World Championships, China secured two of the four individual qualifications in both men's and women's groups for the Tokyo Olympics. The other two berths will depend on the accumulated scores from World Cup competitions.

Japan captured both men's and women's synchronized trampoline title. Russia obtained two golds on the women's tumbling and men's double mini-trampoline.

Earlier on Friday, Japan pocketed its first-ever women's team world title at the FIG Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships.

With the participation of 336 gymnasts representing 37 countries and regions, the four-day World Championships in Tokyo will conclude on Sunday. The competition will see a total of 15 gold medals.
