At least 19 people were killed and 21 others injured after a bus fell off a bridge in Zabaykalsky Krai, Russia on Sunday, local media reported.

A total of 43 people including the driver were on the bus when the incident occurred.

The local media said the driver lost control of the vehicle when he was driving from Sretensk to Chita.

Several people are still believed to be trapped inside the bus and a rescue mission is currently underway.
