What challenges will first female leader of EU face?

The first female leader of the European Union's executive branch is scheduled to take office on Sunday. The former German defense minister, Von der Leyen, takes over from Jean-Claude Juncker. One of the most urgent tasks Von der Leyen is facing after assuming office is Brexit. The new EU council chief will chair a bloc summit from December 12 to 13. At the same time, there is the result of the imminent UK election. Mr. Paolo Von Schirach, president of the Global Policy Institute comments on what challenges these pose to Von der Leyen.
