Located in northeastern Beijing, Gubei Watertown is introducing a series of events to celebrate the winter, including a fair, lantern lighting and choir performances.

"We've put more interactive elements to enrich visitor experience this year," Zhou Jianhong, a sales manager at the water town, said.

The focus is onintegrating traditional Chinese and Christmas elements this year. 

The Christmas parade is held twice at 1:00 and 2:30 p.m. every day in December. The Christmas fair is scheduled to open from 12:00-8:00 p.m. every day until December 25 at Riyue Island Square. There is also a light show that is going to take place on December 24 from 4:30-5:50 p.m.

The town received more than 400,000 travelers during November and December last year.
