Team China ended on high note in ISU Short Track speed skating World Cup held in Nagoya, Japan, thanks to the men's 5,000 meter relay team consisting of Wu Dajing, Ren Ziwei, Han Tianyu and An Kai.

China was in third place in the first half of the race but passed Kazakhstan for second with 22 laps to go. Four laps later, China's Han Tianyu made a move to pass the South Korean skater and grabbed the lead.

After being penalized for blocking in the mixed 2,000 meter relay one day earlier, China was careful not to do so again and Wu Dajing pulled away from the pack over the final stretch and went on to cross the line in a time of 7 minutes, 2.759 seconds. South Korea won silver while Russia got bronze.

Earlier in the women's 1500 meters, China's Han Yutong pocketed a bronze medal while gold went to the Netherlands star Suzanne Schulting and Courtney Lee Sarault of Canada took the silver.

In the men's 1500 meters, South Korea's Park Ji-won won the championship. Chinese player An Kai collided with other players at the last corner and finished sixth.

ISU Short Track speed skating World Cup has been held for three stops this season as the event in Nagoya came to an end. It is moving on to Shanghai this weekend and will be held at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center Stadium from December 6 to 8.
