Clean, natural gas now flows all the way from eastern Siberia to northeastern China. It's all possible thanks to the China-Russia East-Route natural gas pipeline, the northern segment of which is now in use. China's gas shortages have increased its need for natural gas and the pipeline should help meet some of the demand. But will this increase China's reliance on natural gas imports?
