As U.S. President Donald Trump signed the bills on Hong Kong in late November, world leaders are calling the U.S. out for interfering in other countries' domestic affairs.

Gennady Zyuganov, leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, said the U.S. has a habit of interfering in other countries' internal affairs through legislation. 

China has shown the world a unique case in promoting national modernization and has become a model for the world. This is not what the U.S. wanted to see.

He added that any country that wants to have independent sovereignty and an independent market would not accept other countries' interference like this.

Njabulo Nzuza, deputy minister of South Africa's Department of Home Affairs, urged all countries, especially the U.S., to stop interfering in the affairs of other countries. 

"I think they have a lot of things to deal with themselves, and they should leave Hong Kong issues to the people of Hong Kong," he said.

As for the ongoing unrest and riots in Hong Kong, Nzuza said the violence must come to an end and dialogue would be the best way to resolve any issues that might be there.
