HK rioter who attacked police stands trial for rioting charges

An 18-year-old protester, Tsang Chi-kin, has arrived at a court in Hong Kong to face charges for rioting and assaulting a police officer. He attacked police officers with a white pole during the protests on October 1st and was shot. Police said the officer was under serious threat and acted in self-defense, following official guidelines. If convicted, Tsang might face a maximum 10-year sentence.
