In the second finals today, China's Fan Kexin won gold in the women's 500m, and Liu won back to back, about 1.2 seconds faster than himself yesterday.

China's Wu Dajing, who injured his waist yesterday in the men's 500m final, fell down and got injured again in men's 500m quarterfinals today and failed to make it to the next round.

He and Shaolin Sandor Liu had a minor collision in the final lap of the men's 500m final yesterday. Wu lost his balance and went into the sideboard, and was then taken to the hospital.
