Micronesian president to visit China from December 11 to 18

President David Panuelo of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) will take his first state visit to China from December 11 to 18, announced China's Foreign Ministry on Monday. 

During his visit, Panuelo will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, said Hua. 

The Micronesian president will also pay a visit to to two provinces in south China, Guangdong and Hainan.

In September, President Xi and his Micronesian counterpart exchanged congratulatory messages to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relationship. 

And this July, Xi's special envoy Yang Chuantang attended Panuelo's inauguration ceremony in FSM's capital Palikir.
