A spectacular display will mark the final event of a year-long series of coronation ceremonies for Thailand's new monarch, King Maha Vajiralongkorn. A synchronized procession of 52 ornately decorated royal barges will be propelled along Bangkok's Chao Phraya river by more than 2,000 oarsmen, accompanied by the sound of chanting and singing.
