What are these Tianshan wapitis looking at?
CGTN

On Sunday, a group of Tianshan wapitis appeared in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. As winter comes, they will emerge in order to forage for food.

The Tianshan wapiti is a second-class protected animal in China, and mostly lives in the Tianshan Mountains. The ecological system of Tianshan has improved greatly as the local government focused on environmental protection. The growing number of Tianshan wapitis is evidence of the improved environment.
