Amorgos is the easternmost island in Greece's Cyclades island group, and sits opposite the ancient beaches of Ionian towns such as Ephesos and Militos. Along with several nearby islands, it is part of the municipality of Amorgos.
With a land area of just 121 square kilometers, the island has a population of nearly 2,000 people. It was featured in Luc Besson's film "The Big Blue."
